Keros-N on building Grand Cru as one album

In The Link Fwi’s Rencontre Avec interview, published on December 12, 2024, Keros-N explained the title as know-how refined and assembled so the result would not age badly, with themes he expected to still speak to listeners in ten years. He said earlier projects were selections of his strongest songs, often prompted by his production side, whereas for Grand Cru he wanted the album to tell a story from first track to last. He said he deliberately kept collaborations few so that listeners would hear Keros-N himself. He added that he had written the hooks for his duets with Jean-Pierre Coquerel and Fanswa Ladrezeau years before approaching them.

INTRO opens the sequence and FWANSÉ follows; The Link Fwi introduced Fwansé as a freestyle that announced the album. Keros-N described LOVE with Warped as their first collaboration and said Nicy, Miky Ding La and Shaba, credited on PLISS MONEY, were friends since 2006. LIFE names Boy Boy, whom he called a Trinidad and Tobago artist originally planned for a promotional track before the album. He said TI BATO contrasts how a boy and an adult think, and that JOLI BATO, the closing duet with Fanswa Ladrezeau, addresses food self-sufficiency. Separate single editions of FWANSÉ and LOVE also appear in the catalog; no recording equivalence is asserted.
