Home in Henderson’s recording career

A 2016 interview in The Sun included Home among Michele Henderson’s six albums to that point. Henderson described building an audience in Guadeloupe and Martinique through radio play and performances, while treating music as a sustained professional commitment. That is career context for the album, rather than evidence that every track belongs to one language or genre.

The staged release plan and studio credits

The Sun’s December 2013 launch report described a planned release in four-song instalments, leading to a physical album for Dominica’s 2014 Independence celebrations. It credited Henderson with writing all 13 songs, named Audio Solutions Inc. in Dominica as the production studio, and identified Heureka Studio in Martinique for mixing and mastering. These are credits and plans reported at launch; the article does not verify when every planned instalment appeared. Its account explains why a four-track EP belongs in this album’s release history while the catalog editions retain their own dates.

The 13-track Home edition lists Sael in the title of Tou sa nou ye and Wayne Benjamin in Mizik la. It opens with Home and closes with Chez moi. A related four-track product, Home “Chez moi”, Vol. 1 - EP, has a separate 2013 provider date, while the album is dated 2015. Both sequences are presented here so that the shorter EP is not mistaken for the complete album. Matching titles alone do not establish identical audio masters.
