Love.Passion.Music

An album planned alongside a different kind of concert

In Toni Nicholas’s July 1, 2013 interview for The STAR, Teddyson John described Love, Passion, Music as a change in direction after reviewing his work with his team. He wanted music that could reach listeners of different ages and travel beyond the Saint Lucian Carnival season. He said the concept included his first album and a July 4 concert, with an emphasis on new material rather than simply collecting earlier songs. The report records those intentions before the concert; it does not by itself prove that the event happened or that every planned detail was completed.

Navigate the edition and its versions

The selected seven-track provider edition is dated June 27, 2013, earlier than the announced July concert. A storefront date and a planned launch event are different facts, so both retain their own context. Land of Wine opens the sequence, followed by Wine Up On Me and Out and Bad. Take Over, Sweet Soca Music and Oh Gyal lead into the closing Spread Love. The table preserves these source spellings and complete order. The interview’s wider discussion of his changing lyrics should not be read as a new genre or an inferred credit for every recording.
