Why she wanted to keep the song
In Brut’s timed interview, Fanny J connects the impossible-love theme to her own experience. Between 00:47 and 01:42, she recalls Warren and Thierry’s initial doubts, her attachment to the story, and the feedback that helped the team agree to release it.
Around 01:47 she recalls launching Vous les Hommes in 2007. Later, she describes realizing the song’s reach while travelling, including an African trip that summer. This is her retrospective account, not a dated studio log.

The album entry separates writing and production
The selected Apple song page credits Fanny J for vocals and Warren for production. Its writing section distinguishes lyric contributors from composers. The interview’s conversational account of making the song does not replace that more specific role list.

Album entry and Mokobé feature
Apple places the unsuffixed song second on the selected sixteen-track Vous les hommes edition, dated January 1, 2007. That provider day should not be treated as independently established worldwide debut precision.
Section Zouk Records separately labels its video “Fanny J feat Mokobé” and identifies the collaboration as 2008 in the description. The video itself was uploaded May 16, 2012. The description’s version year, upload date and album date answer different questions; none proves the two audio files use an identical master.
