Behind the recording

Wap Wap — Litleboy, Mr Vegas and the separate studio roles

Litleboy’s official “Wap Wap” upload names Mr Vegas as collaborator and places the song in an announced Dawg Life project. Its credits, alongside the selected Qobuz entry, identify writing, production, mixing and mastering as separate contributions.

What the artist announced

The September 3, 2026 artist upload describes “Wap Wap” through dancehall, Dennery Segment and bouyon, and calls Dawg Life a forthcoming EP. That description is evidence of an announced project at the time; it does not establish that the EP had already been released.

The official contributor block names Litleboy, Mr Vegas and Tyron Agesilas as authors/composers, adding Kayne, identified there as Bastien Habitouche, to the production team. It names Islanda Records and Casa Malca in its label line.

Where mixing and mastering appear

The French Qobuz single entry supplies more engineering detail: Hugo Martinez is the mixing engineer and Anthony Kilhoffer the mastering engineer. Casa Malca is listed there as music publisher, a different role from the official upload’s broader label line.

Qobuz uses the contributor spelling TYRON; the artist upload uses Tyron Agesilas. These are retained as source-specific labels rather than silently expanding the provider’s shorter name into a legal identity.

Select the single or the official video

Qobuz dates its one-track WAP WAP package September 4, 2026 and displays the main artist as litleboy lsbeats767, with Mr. Vegas featured. The artist video has its own September 3 upload timestamp. Those separate records should not be collapsed into an invented recording date.

The provider’s Hip-Hop/Rap category also differs from the artist’s description. It is a store classification, not a reason to replace the artist’s stated musical context.
