A minimal semifinal presentation
In an exclusive February 4, 2020 ANN interview, Problem Child, identified as Shertz James, said he used the semifinal presentation to test the song’s impact with four dancers and little additional staging.
He hoped to develop the visual presentation for the final, but described funding as a constraint. Those were plans at the time of the interview, not evidence that a particular final-stage design was completed. The article also does not identify which studio mix supplied the semifinal backing track.
