The documented collaboration
VP’s announcement reports that Garlin met A$AP Ferg in Trinidad during Carnival 2014. It credits Funkmaster Flex with premiering the remix through Hot 97 and InFlexWeTrust. The announcement gives August 12, 2014 as the album’s planned release date.
The Doc and Jes production credit in that announcement belongs to the remix. It should not be carried over automatically to the earlier EP tracks.
Singles, albums and named versions
Apple Music lists tracks titled “Truck On D Road” on Carnival Tabanca and Ready For the Road. Its Differentology entry adds the A$AP Ferg feature, corresponding to the version named in VP’s album announcement. The two earlier EP listings have no featured-artist suffix; their exact master relationship remains unconfirmed.
