Krys

The story so far.

Krys is Pédro Pirbakas, a Guadeloupean singer and producer. In Chokarella’s August 2026 interview, he described writing to rap and dancehall instrumentals as a teenager, working with Black Micky Crew and developing a solo career. He also explained the competing demands of performing and running Step Out Production, through which he produced other artists, including Colonel Reyel and Misié Sadik. God Bless changed his plans by bringing new demand for his own music. The conversation also follows Crime Parfait and the Dansa remix, placing his releases within a Caribbean network that crosses language boundaries. His dancehall background and exploration of zouk do not make every release interchangeable: the catalog preserves individual collaborators, editions and version names.
