The story so far.

Salty is Trinidadian performer Dillon Charles. ANSA McAL’s report on the 2016 Carib Breakout Artiste award identifies him as runner-up to Jadel; that development award was separate from the overall International Soca Monarch title. His recorded work includes collaborations with producer Travis World. In a 2018 interview, Travis described their work on Trouble and said they had recorded a Spanish version intended for Panama. That account documents their creative work, while the eventual release status of that version remains unestablished here. The selected listening entries are Trouble and Tiger Baby, the latter credited to Salty, Militant and Travis World. Salty’s short stage name is shared by other performers, so the catalog retains separate provider identities and does not fold every same-name search result into Dillon Charles’s repertoire.
